More of the Copaesthetic

I've named the most recent body of work that I have been doing the "Copaesthetic" It is a Portmanteau or a combination of two words into one, that I made up. It combines the word Copacetic, meaning very satisfactory, pleasant, or agreeable. The second word is Aesthetic, meaning a work of artistic value. I suppose to me it means that in my work I am looking for a visual image that can convey accord and harmony.

I always hope that the viewer can find piece of themselves in my work. I hope that when examining this piece we can all recognize the boisterous facades and guises we all use to conceal our inner nature.

Self Portrait "4 views of a heart"

This is a Self Portrait, including sacred geometry and 3 anatomical views of a heart juxtaposed. There should be no subject unworthy of depiction, because life is a constant counterbalance and there is no: beauty without disgrace; no joy if not born from sorrow, no hope that has hid it's face from fear, no faith without doubt. And the further you remove yourself in attempt to see these in their entirety, unprepossesed, the more they all start to look the same.
